Janhvi Kapoor Feels Speaking About Your Movies “Will Catch The Evil’s Eye”
During a recent event, when Janhvi Kapoor was asked to talk about her upcoming film RoohiAfza she said she doesn’t like to talk about her movies much because “it will catch the evil's eye”
After entering Bollywood with Dhadak, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for IAF Pilot Gunjan Saxena biopic and Dinesh Vijan’s RoohiAfza in which she will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao. Believe it or not, Janhvi is a tad superstitious in talking about her upcoming films.
At the first edition of the Grazia Millennial Awards, which took place on Wednesday night, when Janhvi was asked to talk about RoohiAfza, she said, "The shooting of the film has been going on really well. Whether you call me superstitious or old-fashioned, I feel if you talk more about your film, it will catch the evil's eye. So, I will not speak much about the film. I feel fortunate to be part of this film and to be working with people who are involved in the film."

Earlier this month, Janhvi had shared a social media update about starting the RoohiAfza journey. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, it is being directed by debutant Hardik Mehta, and will release on March 20, 2020.
Janhvi made her debut with Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter, when she was just 21. Talking about starting work at a young age, she said, "I am looking forward to growing old. Actually everyone says I am mentally very young and I am still stuck at 10. So, I think I should grow up now a little bit."
To talk about her Gunjan Saxena biopic, the film is tentatively titled as Kargil Girl. She will also be seen in Karan Johar’s ambitious project, Takht co-starring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.
